Hmm that is a potential worry that we allowed a release clause to a premiership (or other top division club) though if anyone set that at 1 Million they arent fit to be in football

There has already been rumours that a player allegedly Lindsay has had his head turned by his agent and is refusing to speak with the club about a new deal. Every window Lindsay has been here he has been linked to another club Brighton,Leeds,bresciax2,stoke,west Brom most probley his agent trying to drum up interest I doubt he will be here next season if I'm honest if he won't sign a new deal he will be sold.
If he had a release clause for 1million he would be gone by now. Wants to be 4 million minimum.

I wouldn’t say you get your head turned by agents if you’re club offer you the right deal, specially now we are in the championship the club have to make a decision where they want to be , as there will be a few players with decisions to make

Roumor has it he doesn't want to speak about a new deal. Potential interest from stoke and west Brom 2 clubs receiving parachute payments who can offer him treble we can and a serie A club. Course agents turn heads

Maybe he's a massive, big headed King **** and we're better off shut.

Let's get him out before Mcgeehan, Thiam and Pinnock become massive big headed King ****'s too.

    The clubs had this before.

I totally accept that the Bloke can earn more, and av a nice future administering pile cream to his buttox, while bench warming at an higher level, but i wouldnt want him to go for PEANUTS. Gud luk to him and any other player in our ranks that want to further their careers, but lets get the reight money so that we can replace em, like for like or Better.

Spot on Winker. Under this recruitment model Man From Uncle could be his replacement :)

Think your narrow mind is missing the point, they are a tight group of players and manager who are marching together ,if the club wish to stand still and repeat the mistakes of losing players / manager that is there decision no need for negative name calling after the season we have just had

It's not a case of that though is it, we can't just give Lindsay 20k a week and a 3 year deal then same for pinnock then Cameron and the rest. We will get around 10k season ticket holders I've no doubt we could up his wages but we can't compete with the clubs linked to him. And like I said rumors are he isn't interested in what we have to offer.

I don’t know where you get your numbers or rumours from, that’s not my point .The point being the club have a decision to make in the balance of how to move forward

Not as easy as you are trying to make out. Like I've told you we can't compete on wages with stoke, west Brom ect. If we could Davies wouldn't be thinking about going.
The numbers were example and there was a thread on here a few weeks back is were the rumors came from.

Ye I get that, there in lies the decision, can we be more creative with contracts to keep or attract players or more importantly a manager eg related to success, appearances, commitment. I am not employed to come up with answers but have continually read how disappointed everyone was three years ago when our team was dismantled. It would be good to stabilise in the championship and fill our stadium every game

If I were Liam Lindsay knowing that there were clubs out there willing to treble my wages AND I backed myself to perform well in the Championship then I wouldn't sign a new deal either.
Furthermore if I knew that not signing a new deal would precipitate the club selling me now to a club who would treble my wages without the risk of failing in the Championship I definitely wouldn't sign a new deal.
You can say what you like about team spirit etc but the next move for a lad like that can secure him financially for life and probably his close family too.
