    Unfortunately John Stones has a tendency to switch off and it's cost England tonight and also last year against Croatia. Perhaps he can get away with it at Manchester City given the quality in their side and the amount of goals they score.

    It's like someone removed half a dozen of our players' brains about 30 mins ago. I don't mind losing to a better team (which they were) but to lose like that is embarrassing.

    I like Southgate and want him to stay on but that was awful tactics tonight. When the scores were level we showed the ability to give as good as we got. From going one up we sat deep. The Dutch didn't outplay us, we just sat back and tried to stifle them. It was never likely to work. Especially when you compound it with suicidal passing around the penalty box.
    And why did we start an important game with Delph and Rice in midfield?
