Thanks all, some really useful information there, much appreciated. Off to give it a try tonight, will see how it goes. Thanks again
I've been enjoying the TMBG version for years, but never knew it was a cover. Amazing the things you learn on here
I've been to Pasha round the corner several times, it's excellent. Istanbul was opened by their head chef, I suspect he fell out with the owner. I've not tried there. If in doubt, go to Pasha instead
Been to Pasha several times, as you say it's excellent there. Just wanted to try this new place, I suspected they were connected in some way. I'm sure it will be good.
Just got back. Superb food, terrible service. Waited over an hour for our starter, then another 45 minutes for the main course. Obviously totally understaffed for a Saturday night. Will go again but not on a weekend, many tables, just one chef who works his ****** off. Deserves a chance, but work to do...
Great tune. One on my old man's favourites. White guys that heard the doo-wop bands from Chicago & in their native Canada & had a go. TMBG were a pretty decent vocal band, my old band mate loved them, but they really never did anything innovative. Made a few quid off Birdhouse In Your Soul, which i'd rather saw my ears off than hear again TBH.
