    Not convinced Nixon knows anything about us anymore. He’s probably read a few posts on here following on from what he posted this morning. No doubt he’ll be posting ‘aye’ like his cryptic tweet was exactly as predicted. He’s a helmet.

    I know it's not a done deal or owt , but if we do manage to pull this off to beat a potential play off contender like Bristol city to a player is a step in the right direction . We haven't really been competitive in the transfer market since the late 1990s so for me long may it continue .

    Until he's stood there with scarf over his head saying "this was the club I was always going to sign for and once I spoke to Stendel and saw the facilities it was a no brainer". I'll take it with a pinch of salt.

    Local rag Bristol Live seem to confirm that it is the Reds who are signing him, but as SD rightly says,
    until we see him on the pitch with Paul Conway with that famous Red shirt in his hands, we have
    to treat it as speculation and paper talk.

    As I've said before, if it's true and it also transpires that we could be in the frame to sign Turnbull from Motherwell
    for > £2 million, it will be the biggest sign yet, that our Board are genuinely setting their stall out, to both keep Daniel Stendel and hopefully cement our place in the Championship.
