Barnsley fans want players in the last year of their contract who we want to keep to be offered a new contract to what we can afford relative our income. If they sign great if not they are sold.

Barnsley fans do not want to risk the clubs future by paying £15k per week + contracts to players that may not improve or may get injured putting the club at a financial risk

Barnsley fans do not want a squad so big that players earning big salaries are sat in the stands not earning their wages.

Barnsley fans want the club to be well run with steady year on year growth.

Barnsley fans will support our players and staff if they are committed, hard working and try to entertain the paying fans.

We want to bring in young, talented players that can increase in value and add quality to what we already have.

I think ive got it right and im pretty sure its what the club are doing but if anyone has anything different thoughts on what the club should be doing then please add it in but dont include catering , bird **** and the score board im sure theyll improve.

A big push at increasing attendances, not seen anything since Cryne started the free kids STs. We've a bit more know how and money behind us now so surely we could market this a bit better, we've had a bit of a surge in crowds on the back of a promotion and a couple of Wembley visits.

I agree get attendances up and increase the noise / atmosphere in the ground, i hate it when a big away end are louder than us. Id like the new owners to fill the corners of the ground with safe standing areas at a cheaper entrance fee. Also pay on the gate match day ticket prices to be lower just to get the ground full. I also hope the west stand can be fully opened this season.

This is the main thing. Obviously no one wants the club to go bust as we've nearly been there. The key thing is to play entertaining football and in the longer term give the fans some hope that there is a good future ahead. We should be encouraged to aspire and be given some semblance of that aspiration on the pitch. If the team occasionally fails then so be it, but the long term goal should be one of improvement both in terms of that entertaining football, and as a corollary, a gradual improvement in the league position.

    This, basically.

If we could get up to a 15k average, as well as maximising incoming transfer fees, we will be a solid Championship club.

I’d rather get an extra year on the initial contract. We aren’t buying turkeys in the transfer market any more so we should back our recruitment.

If we don’t, we’ll send fringe players out on loan for a year (Green? Styles? Miller?) and by the time they become established, they are holding out for a transfer on their return.

As much as I hate it, as its accepting football is a business, we need to be excellent in commercial sponsorship - its the only way we can move forward by increasing the wage bill to keep players and attract (and keep) better ones- you are right I don't want the club to pay wages it cant afford - increased ST sales will help, but will be second to maximising revenue from sponsorship deals.

To be able to move forward we need to pay higher wages and that can only come from better sposorship deals, more people through the gate, better merchandising, more tv appearances, cup runs and potentially higher season ticket prices.

Its that, run at a loss or continue as we are. Not sure which i want but probably run as we are, lose a few players, we may struggle to stay up but if we stay a float financially then things should never get too bad but also should have some highs along the way.

More income and bigger wages would be exciting but it may not be sustainable for a town and support base our size. I dont know ill leave it with Conway and Lee.
