Bradford had an absolute nightmare of a season. Fans wanting the board sacked. Fans wanting every manager sacked. Add to that the hoof ball football they played and that's no environment for a 20 year old on loan. It might be that our targets have shifted based on potential departures and Miller will be moved on, but I could easily see him staying. As pointed out, you don't give a player a three and a half year deal if you think he's only going to be League One quality at best. For those saying Bradford fans wanted shut. They did, but they wanted shut of everyone pretty much. A few others reached out to me to suggest he's a quality player, and if he played in a team that attacked at pace and crossed the ball he could be a great striker. Just not with them. Because they were useless on and off the pitch.
So did Peterborough. MacAnthony has just had a rant on twitter about how they’ve been messed about by Oldham and the player’s agent. I’ve not heard anything about us being linked with him, it was just a guess as I’m sure @Goldthorpe-Red had mentioned the player was somebody we hadn’t been linked with in the press, and we need a couple of central defenders.
It's entirely possible that we intended to loan him out this season no matter what. I hope we will show some patience.
