    "For example - we have just signed an exciting young player from Derby for £1.2 MILLION.
    What did we get - a photo of him holding a shirt up."

    I was talking to a Derby ST holder today who told me that Thomas had some serious off-field antics issues, partying all night and a very public bust up with his girlfriend due to his activities with other ladies (all allegedly I might had)
    According to my Derby mate (and many others, I am surrounded by them at work) that was the real reason he was sent to Coventry (joke there somewhere)
    They thought he was damaged goods, massive ego, difficult to control etc.
    Apparently many Derby fans thought he has talent but is somewhat off the rails at the moment.
    If true I am wondering if this is such a good signing.

    But at least he held a shirt up Nudger

    Here’s a thought for you. Maybe it’s the selling club that doesn’t want the fee disclosed.

    An example, we sign Ethan Pinnock for a million from Forest Green Rovers but they want it as undisclosed so when they buy players in future, they’re not asked for extortionate prices because other clubs know they’ve got a million in the bank.

    AND, can you name me any club that justifies the sale of a player? No. None. Get your head out of cloud cuckoo land and enjoy the summer. There was similar meltdown when we sold Bradshaw and look at Woodrow now. Have some faith in the board and manager and take positives in the latest signing being on a 4 year contract so this won’t happen in future.

    Hes 20 years old, not married so I dont think thats any big deal I dont think as a squad they are massive party animals so hopefully the work ethic will rub off. Let's wait and see, a lot on the forum are upset that hes leaving.

    He does have a partner though, of whom he was very publicly cheating on allegedly, so that gives me a few concerns about his thought processes and attitude.
    However as you say let's see if the Barnsley way will rehabilitate him

    You obviously missed the video the club put together of his positive play from last season? But don't let facts get in the way of your opinion.

    There's a handful of folk demanding some kind of statement. But the same folk demand a statement if we paint the parking lines a different shade of white. I haven't seen Lindsay described as a steal, and I don't need an explanation for why we've sold him. It's pretty bloody obvious.

    One of our best players in the last few years by many accounts had a drink issue and ended up assaulting two paramedics before he rejoined us. Please lets not hold our new signings to their past indiscretions otherwise we are a bit f*****d.

    If we are judging pro footballers on fidelity I think we'd struggle to put together a starting 11 from the top 3 divisions by all accounts.

    What are you talking about?

    If there's one area we have excelled at as a club in recent years it's communicating with our fans across all the various communications channels the club has at its disposal. We've had a pretty good year as well from a PR point of view.

    The owners of our fantastic football club have explained multiple times about our transfer policy.
    The owners are now into their 3rd transfer window, In the last two I personally had no complaints about their decisions. So I trust them to make the correct decisions in the interest of the club!

    Yes the poster has been warned about this previously and it isnt acceptable. If this continues it will be addressed. I've been on my hollidays the last couple of weeks so probably haven't kept an eye. (First day back at work today so been a bit crazy also). Hit the report button though.

    Probably. Went to a taco stand at the side of the road in Leon. About 60p a taco. Steak supposedly. Bet there was all sorts in it. :D Tasted great though and the chilly salsa was bloody hot!
