Sorry I meant Dylan, or was it Ermintrude? Could have been Mr McHenry, or possibly Zebedee.

    Definitely not the shaggy dog.

Seems odd to only sign a one year extension.

Most of the time a contract extension is for 2-3 years. This just means we are in the same position next post season unless we expect him to be sold and we are just covering our backs.

Could be that the Board want to see where we are at the close of the 2021 season and if he's got one year still to go on his current deal, they have only offered him a one year extension and he's quite happy with that, otherwise he wouldn't have
    signed.

Or conversely, Cameron was only prepared to commit himself for a further season.? In the fullness of time, hopefully we
might learn which one of those scenarios is correct, if either are of course.

Only yesterday it was all about how we hadn't learned our lessons. Yet today a third player has signed a contract extension.

Great news and more belief that the club know what they're doing when it comes to squad retention and recruitment.

I think him mowatt and Woodrow seem to have that camaraderie and team spirit on show so I was a bit surprised at talk of him leaving seeing as the latter 2 had signed extensions.
    Just Pinnock to sign now!

Could be we backed him with a broken leg and all that and now he is repaying our trust.

Not convinced he is Championship quality. Might be OK as a squad player but we need better. In my negative opinion of course.

Great news. I have a good feeling that he'll be a cracking player next season in the championship.

Good news. We need Pinnock next, but that will be a hard one to tie down, I'm hoping increased wages and a release clause of £5 million or so with sell on might keep him, as he needs to be starting in a championship side to get big bucks. Good we've kept a few from last year. There are bound to be changes. So far I'm still optimistic.Club policy is clear for players with one year left. We were lacking some key skills to make us competitive in the championship from last years squad, so the mix must change. We don't need wholesale changes though.

Good to have depth in central midfield but he will only be a backup option i would imagine.

    Who else chirps up?

Davies got the captain's band but he did little by way of inspirational leadership.

Stendel is dipping his bucket into an empty well at the mo.

We could do with an older, harder, louder head when things get tough this coming season.

But our "model" seems to disallow it.

We did fine last year, leadership isn’t a direct correlation with age. I think Pinnock (assuming he stays) or McGeehan should get the armband next year
