Rumour doing the rounds on twitter that Bruce has walked out - probably made up by someone for a laugh but it would be funny if it is actually true.

Wouldn't be a shock, he's used to having boat loads of cash to waste.

I will be quite happy if he stays - no way will he get them even top half unless he has lots of cash to waste - and he doesnt have that

I had a nosey on owlstalk this morning and most of them were predicting top ten to top six finish and with a healthy budget to work with.

I prefer to start with low expectations and be pleasantly surprised - thats exactly what happened for most of us last season
    - I guess most piggies are so deluded thats what they think they are doing as well and secretly hoping for top 2

I think we will finish above them

And I thought some Sunderland fans were delusional last year!

Theyre just the worst. Theyre still giving United fans **** even though theyve done what theyre so desperate to do at a fraction of the cost.
A good majority of their fans still live in the early 90s, David Hirst and Carlton Palmer and all that crap. They go to great lengths to argue about were there 24k or 25k at their rust bucket of a ground that day. They dance in ground concourses up and down the country and film it, and think that automatically gives them the right to be in top six. Delusions of grandeur is past down from generation to generation, with nothing to back it up.
Bottom line, they were given the golden ticket and blew it bigtime, good and proper and now its leaving a legacy. Their owner bought them even though he knows nothing about football and bought them for his son, yes the massives are basically a 8 year olds plaything. Prices have rocketed, they advertise fake companies that theyve made up to help get round FFP and currently yet to publish their accounts 6 weeks late (not usually a great sign).
Im not saying theyre not a bigger club than us but any chance now and again they could be a little more humble, perhaps even recognise that even after all the brass theyve spent, they are bang average.

They seem confident he is staying, confident they are making signings and confident the embargo will be lifted. I therefore confidently predict .......... Europe in 5 Years :)

Bruce will be screwed when he can't buy success or buy his way out of trouble. Massively overrated manager in my opinion.
