https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sausage ....just saying ...agree with th teacake bit though Hides behind settee hoping there is a God PS....Richmond sausages have so little meat in they must class as vegetarian
Richmond's are proper kack, Sainsbury were voted the best pack sausage. And they are. me and the dog love em. Try em Sainsbury's Pork, and Pork and nutmeg.
Richmond sausages are the arse wipe of the devil. They are vile. I'm into making my own, shoulder of pork and belly pork, chilled to almost frozen, cut into cubes, salt, pepper and herbs added, ground through a grinder to a fairly small texture, piped into sausage skin (from Lakeland), twisted into links, chilled, and then cooked to perfection. HMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmm !!!! BEAT THAT you lot. I also use that same meat mixture to make my own pork pies, making my own water crust pastry and jelly. 45 minutes in t'oven and you've got sheer heaven. Over to you......
Not sure if it is all of them, but I've seen a few varieties of Heck sausages that are gluten free. Useful knowledge for anyone with coeliac disease.
Spot on. This is the only thing in the world that challenges my atheism, a Cumberland sausage sarnie with HP sauce has to have been a divine creation.
Can’t beat a tomato sausage from the butchers/farm shop. To be fair the tomato sausage from Asda (they’re not particularly dear or a special range) are a favourite of me and the kids. Like them if I’m having breakfast stuff, if it’s owt like sausage and mash etc I like a pork and leek. Richmond the best? Sweet Jesus they’ve led a sheltered life.
Used to be Webster’s at Darton, butcher browns up mapp or burkinshaws. At the minute it’s cawthorne farm shop or on the very remote chance your in these areas: behind the train station at Whitby or the butchers in kirton
Must be a girl thing, I quite like Richmond’s too... I used to really like the ones my parents get off a stall in the market, although it was probably more the fact that they always deep fried them in lard
I’ve had the same thing with two females at work discussing the best sausage. But after a while they had to agree that it was mine.
