    C.K Beckett can confirm after 10 years of being a proud Club Partner at Barnsley Football Club, next season they will not be the Club’s Principal Sponsor and have their logo emblazoned on the front of the first team home and away shirts.

    Big praise to CK Beckett for all the support of the club for the past decade. It's been good to see a successful local business sponsoring us and I hope they stay involved some other way.

    I can imagine the new shirt sponsor will be our most lucrative ever.

    Thanks to C K Becket for their support. Not everyone would have been happy having a waste management firm as their main sponsor. However, it's an honest and eco-friendly business. Football attracts gambling and alcohol sponsors of course. Both of those industries have their dark sides. I was glad when Pukka Pies left the East Stand - I wouldn't eat one. However, I don't imagine that ethical or health issues will figure very highly in whoever comes in - it's all about the cash, 'bout the cash, no trouble... it's all about the cash....someone could make a song out of that....

    Agree about C K Beckett and thier support over the bad years as well as the good..
    Would like to see a part if the ground or an area named after them to show the clubs support for them..maybe a seating area or one of the food/bar area's...wot do ya think.
