Has politics ever been so dispiriting? And only Corbyn waiting in the wings when they fall on their smug faces. It looks like the Poundshop Trump will prevail. But I think the Brextremists will be disappointed when he finds himself constrained by the responsibility of office and the Parliamentary arithmetic.
I can't disagree, Johnson's only saving grace is that he is apparently against Hs2 whereas Hunt is a supporter.
I'd opt for Lewis If it turned into a violent confrontation though...I doubt Lennox would try and bite your ears off.
I think Boris will be a good prime minister. He likes a laugh - but with his serious head on he has a vision for this country. And I’m saying this as a traditional labour voter.
I think Boris will be an appalling Prime Minister. He's a joke - but he's also pretty sinister and outrageously racist. And I'm saying this as a normal human being.
Mark Field works for Jeremy Hunt at the Foreign Office. If his boss does eventually get the top job, he'd be very useful in sorting out any dissenters. ! https://edition.cnn.com/2019/06/20/uk/uk-mark-field-greenpeace-protester-intl-hnk/index.html
The fact that Hunt calls Rupert Murdoch ‘Daddy’ and ‘Mon Ami’ should send shivers down anyone’s spine. His dereliction of managing the NHS effectively is also one which should cause nervousness to the general population. NHS standards dropped by over 10% during his 6 years in the role of Health Secretary as budgets were slashed, staff went on strike and wait times increased dramatically. During this period, Boris spunked a fortune on a bridge that never got built and upset pretty much every country on the planet as Foreign Secretary. He was also caught lying on an unbelievable amount of times. What a great time to be alive.
I wish people on here would stop with the boring mindless tory bashing, its so old. Its been done a million times. Yeah we get it everyone hates Thatcher and conservatives YAWN ZZZZZZZ Cant wait for new season to start and we might start talking about football again, maybe??
I know you do. We all have our views. For me the prospect of Johnson as PM, if it wasn't so deflating, would be laughable. There is no vision at all there, only the wish to be PM. That in itself says something extremely worrying.
I wonder where he'd have been if the protester had been a six foot islamist terrorist with a three foot sword!!
