Is the default position. It is to be encouraged. It is enlightened and knowledgeable.

Sceptism and caution are negative and ill informed. This to be discouraged.

I've had a few strong Belgian beers but you get the point.

If that is meant to be a football chant it'll never catch on.

Plenty to like. Still plenty of room for caution though. This new lad is a totally unknown quantity.

As a sceptic I'm not sure you are correct... I'll await more proof. In fact, I suspect you have ulterior motives for the post

Looks a mad ******* though. Still some signings to come, better than having to put £3m away to sort out the deficit

I hope the lad is the best under the radar signing since De Zeeuw. Seems most on here have decided he already is despite the fact that upon waking this morning they'd never heard of him.

He might be the discovery of the season. But no one on here has a bloody clue. They've just arbitrarily decided it's a great signing.

As a positive but unrelated side point I heartily recommend everybody to visit Denmark if they get the chance.

But the club will know more about him than you do.
I may be somewhat wide of the mark but I would guess that even our club would have done a bit of homework on a potential player before splashing out an alleged 800k.
If it were otherwise then we'd go round picking homeless blokes up off the the street and giving him a first team shirt.
Yknow, like they did in the Spackman era.

Nobody knows what the new lads will really be like. We've invested substantially in two of them. The recruitment team have a pretty good record of unearthing decent players.
There's nothing wrong in taking a positive view for the time being. Some of us prefer it that way than spending our days in a miasma of gloom convincing ourselves we're headed for relegation to the fourth division.
If, in two years time, we are relegated to the fourth division I'm sure we'll all still be on here with our varying viewpoints of enthusiasm or despondence.
