Do hash browns belong on a full British Isle's breakfast? ( Bit Alan Partridgeish there ,............ )
No. It's a great pity that fried bread, which in my book does qualify, is rarely seen nowadays. Mind you one of my earliest memories is wandering out into the back garden clutching a dripping sandwich. Times change.
The farmers wife on the Yorkshire Vet Mrs Green insisted that a breakfast without a spoonful of marmalade on the side of the plate, couldn't be classed as a true full English.
+ fried bread (the proper crispy golden brown stuff) & HP sauce. Hash browns and fried potatoes are optional extras
