    Jose is the early favourite according to sky bet. Wouldn't ever expect that to happen. Cant imagine Jose would have any success without a budget

    He wants to either manage again in the Champions League or earn silly money. Newcastle can't do either so he's off. Mike Ashley would be an idiot to match the offers he can get in China.

    I'm not sure it's the wage he's wanting to match, he just wanted an overhaul in the transfer department.

    More money in and swifter negotiations instead of what they've done for years before which is drag their feet in transfers and spend little of their own money.

    He also wanted to sign Rondon but the board was against it because he's 29-30

    About a fortnight ago a billionaire was suppose to be buying them and they were crazily being linked with players like Mbappe.

    Now they don't have a manager, have put season tickets up 5% and Monk is favourite for the job.

    How quickly optimism has gone.

    Without Rafa they would have gone back down in their first season. They are never going to get a manager of that pedigree & their fans know that. New manager will be out of a job in October, when they are in the bottom six.
