Exactly. The facts have been out before the court and no verdict has been reached. Time to.let it go. We know as much as were going to about what happened when and why.

Double Jeopardy is a lot looser in UK law than it used to be.

Must admit, there comes a point where "justice has been done" and nothing else of any use can be found. Massive stadium improvements came from this, families had payouts and the people in charge had their reputations rightfully smashed to bits.

No one woke up that morning with the intention of killing anyone.

Enough is enough, in my opinion.

I'd like to know when all the Liverpool fans that ran through that gate will stand trial?

Would you not run through an open gate? Duckenfield ordered it to be opened and lost the plot that day. That ground was always an accident waiting to happen. They used to order 2 police horses to block the central entrance when it got too full but for some reason they failed to do it that day.

    Congratulations, you are that bellend.

No I wouldn't maraud through a gate like a mindless idiot. Sorry if it sounds controversial and goes against the grain.

I wouldn’t bother mate. Some people feign ignorance even when the facts and an education are smacking them in the face.

I won't say anymore on the matter. I feel for the victims and their families. I don't think anyone should lose their lives at a football match.

Most people would react in same way - game had started and they wanted to get a spot on the terraces- it's also been dismissed as a reason for the accident

I've read the findings of the report too. I agree it wasn't the reason for the accident. It was the reason for the loss of life. Those fans were crushed by other fans.

30 years has passed since this tragedy and still we are no further forward.
One man being held to account and I'm sure many more in authority fked up that day resulting in people losing their lives. Unfortunately nothing can bring them back.
I feel for the grieving relatives and hope lessons were learnt but after 30 years to me the witch hunt is pointless. Duckenfield should have been hung out to dry over his incompetence years ago, not now.
But I'm sure the relatives of the deceased want some sort of punishment set out. I'd possibly be the same but it won't change anything. :(

Is it any defence to trample someone to death and say it's o.k because a police commissioner said open the gate. Maybe it's just me but even if a report absolved me of blame. It would lie in my conscience until my death that certain actions whether induced or not lead to the deaths of so many of my fellow supporters.
