According to Giddings on twitter:- Hearing #barnsleyfc expecting to announce another new recruit tomorrow morning.
Aapo Halme and Mallik Wilks both of Leeds could well be on our radar. Halme is a central defender aged 21 and Wilks aged 20 was the lad on loan at Donny last season.
Utility man, (person), "team player", "someone that can fill a number of roles within the organisation".
THAT is a fair comment really. Luckily I think it’s only on loan we’ll get him so we don’t have to deal with the fall out if he is found guilty really, just have to have it wrote in the loan deal that we can send him back in such circumstances.
The article states that the trial isn’t scheduled to begin until May 2020 so after the culmination of the 19/20 season in any event. I can’t see us signing him on loan unless there’s an option to buy, it’s not our style.
The trial is next May 11 th next year. He's charged with assault and violent behaviour. It doesn't say who else was involved or who did the stabbing.
