Man Utd sorting a deal, paying 50 million for Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Palace.. BBC reporting that he was the lowest paid 1st teamer at palace on 10k per week. So Man Utd offer £90k per week. Obviously nowhere near some of the deals in terms of pay, but even so an 800% payrise is bonkers after a single season in the Palace 1st team.
Simple mistake... Man U downloaded the wrong spreadsheet. Instead they're using the one to work out the mark up of a public sector project.
Wonder how much Alexander-Arnold is worth then? Apparently Daniel James went from 4k a week to 67k a week for 5 years. It's a real test of character to see whether a young lad can still be arsed to put the hard yards in in that situation, I'm pretty sure I'd have tossed it off
Got to be honest here and say I've never even heard of him. Well done in getting over 4.6m per annum.
Artisan-red-baker kicks himself..... Why did he pursue alcohol and the ladies.. when he could have been an averagely decent footballer earning £5m a year.. Oh why oh why was temptation placed in front of me. Oh why oh why was he never good at football.
Defensively he’s very promising, but looks average going forward. That’s football now. Young and English, and the price just becomes even crazier than ever.
I know, imagine paying two and a half million quid in tax and NI to support a society full of envious little goblins.
It doesn’t seem like 2 minutes ago everyone was saying how crazy it was when City paid nearly £50m a piece for Stones & Walker & now it’s the same fee for a kid who’s had one decent season for a bottom half side. Imagine how much he’ll be worth if he has a decent season for Man Utd!
Just went through his stats on sky sports news and they were amazing. I hadn't really twigged him as a player but when they showed clips I remembered being impressed by some tackles at the time
