I'm still fuming about THAT incident. Even though the lad did save more points than he gave away, and that didn't result in a goal, he was so out of position he almost came and sat next to me.

I trust you get this information from a good place. But if that was the case then surely he would be gone and wouldn't be in training with us. I'm not surprised if it is the case the lad is different class in my opinion. Be gutted if and when he finally does move on though.
From the clips in training it looks as though hes here to stay for the time being. Seems odd theres been no rumours if clubs interested in him if he is leaving thus transfer window.
Don't agree with him. 4 out of 5 years Davies was awful? No he wasn't. Having said that... I wish we still had Davies and Lindsay. Our ambition next season is to retain Championship status. With players of the calibre of Davies and Lindsay throughout the side I reckon we'd be comfortably mid table. We might even have a little flirt with the play-offs. If you want to stay in the Championship then they're great players. If your ambition is promotion... I'm not sure Davies and Lindsay are in that league at the moment and I was under the impression that Stoke intend to be in that group of teams.
