So when there happens to be 2 home matches in a week an adult with say 2 teenagers will be asked to fork out near on £100 just for admittance. Hope Lee, Conway et al are pleased with themselves

It's actually a worse situation than last time. The 5 match flexi-ticket lessened the blow then. This time there's the £25 membership and 6 games at full price to qualify for a 'free' ticket. One person's 6 games will therefore be a different cost than someone else's. This all seems very badly thought out.

I don't understand people who want reciprocal pricing because they want to 'rip off the teams who rip us off'. It's not the owners buying matchday tickets, it's the fans. The fans don't set their matchday ticket prices, they just see an announcement on their website as we do on ours. Any of us could have been a Wednesday or Leeds fan if we'd been born a few miles down the road in either direction (that will get some stick but you know what I mean). The fans there are just us, just there. And our fans having to pay the matchday prices at Oakwell for those games are us, here.

You can, the away tickets prices in the championship should be capped like the prem untill then it will be tit for tat like this. Can't say I blame us though our season tickets are some of the cheapest in this league.

Charging 36 quid makes us as bad as Wednesday and Leeds charging those prices be practically no paying on day home supporters on them 2 games as been proven b4 the public Barnsley will not pay that much.

It was only loosely reciprocal last time. There were several examples where we actually charged more than our fans had paid. Villa and Newcastle are the ones that spring to mind.

I'm sure the ones who bellyache at a £14 a match ST with interest free finance could be posting "any one got a link for the game?"

    I know which I prefer.

Can we not charge the away fans more than the home fans for 3/4/5 games a season can’t remember how many times your allowed to do it???

Season Huddersfield got promoted it seemed once a month there home tickets were at a fraction of that of the away teams.

If so charge a reduced rate for the big games for the home fans ... Leeds, Wednesday

£30 is the maximum price anyone should be paying anything more is scandalous and yes I do realise there will only be a few catagory a games but these are the games where we should be filling the ground not pricing families away.

No-one complains about the cost of season tickets. People who can't get to enough games to justify getting a season ticket, rightly grumble at the match day prices.

Are we supposed to say it's all hunky dory because Cryne did it as well. I disagreed with it then and I disagree with it now.

No .. For all games... No under 19s and 12s will be available on the day. Online only, so the concessionary tickets on the day will be £22

    Adult PoD x 2 games = £60. concessions x 2 £44 x 2 games =£88

So 1 adult with 2 teenagers for 2 games in a week would actually be £148.... and for cat B, the middle concession games, at that.

Correct and there are quite a lot of us. I work most weekends and don't finish until 9pm in the week. Got to 4 home games last season. So no i'm not happy with the pricing. Knowing my luck i will be off for weds and leeds at home

So what do you advise them to do then? Taking into account the salaries, transfers, league were in etc etc..

I’ve no issue with it at all.

I gladly paid £36 for the blunts game a few years back. If I’m available, I’d pay £36ish to see us play the fowls or dirty Leeds.

If you want mega cheap bargain basement pricing get a season ticket.

If you want experienced or quality players to be signed, the money has to come from somewhere.

We’d get more through the gate for category a games charging £30 and no increase on pay on the day than £36-£38 that’s a fact! Bargain basement pricing - all the premiership has capped away tickets at £30 I believe to see some of the best players in the world. You can travel all around Europe and see better football at a fraction of the price. Your argument about we need to raise income is flawed as we’d take more revenue in if we started to fill the ground with more sensible pricing. Barnsley is a working class town with large levels of unemployment a couple should not have to pay £76 to watch Barnsley play anyone it’s ridiculous. I realise there will only be a few category a games but these are the games where we should be selling out our home allocation and unfortunately that not going to happen at £36-£38 a ticket especially as there’s a good chance one of the category a games (local Derby’s) may be on sky.

He ripped fans of also the last decent chairman who actually cared about the fans was John Dennis. For all his good points and the good things he did Cryne started the rot. We are part of everything that is wrong with football.

Ripped fans off? Are you talking about the same man here? Mr Cryne pumped in his own money to keep this club going. A club he saved from extinction no less. After the Dennis days of admin.
Mr Cryne has more good points than Dennis ever had. I know they say things look better looking back over time but I remember the chants of Dennis out in the 95-96 season and the suggestions he was taking money out of the club to prop up his failing family business.
Yet you will downplay and deride the great Patrick Cryne who even on his deathbed made sure we were passed on to good and proper owners.
I hope 20% owner and son James doesn't read such twaddle.
