See its reported in the Daily Mail that both Milwall and Bristol City are willing to offer £3million.
That’s a really interesting valuation. I assume we’ll tell them to **** off? Nice piece in the Racing Post this morning taking the piss out of us for the Lindsey transfer valuation. Oh hum.
I’m not. These owners have given Lindsay away - and 3m for Moore would be another give away. I’m not bothered which player leaves as long as we get top dollar for them. If we don’t then other clubs will think we are still in the Patrick Cryne era of selling players cheaply - which will of course generate continuous unwanted attention from other clubs.
I would not sell him for that, him and Cauley compliment each other well I think. Kieffer has more than just goals to his game and I’m confident he’ll have a good season with us.
Not a bad price for Moore. Excellent in league one but I would be surprised if he scored fifteen goals next season. We should only sell if we think we can get a better replacement as we did with Bradshaw though.
No way would I sell Moore for that. May as well put a sign up telling clubs to come and have our pants down. To be honest, were probably the only club in the world that would sell Moore for 3 million mind. Hes too important for us, these folks confident he wont score in championship based on the last time we were in championship are mental. Weve needed a Moore for years, now weve got him, folks want to sell him. Makes me laugh, its as if moneys goin in their bank account. Barmy
Things like this inevitably unsettle players. True or not it then plays on their minds that the grass (money) is greener elsewhere. Let's start our own rumours... we might be surprised !!
5m more like in the current market. Would cost us a pretty penny to get a player near his level of performance. Doesn’t make much sense to me at 3m unless it’s a contract clause.
It’s really simple - he’s our player so we keep him not keep commenting on a price. We’ve needed him for years
