Flightradar24. Shows all details of all flights wherever you are. I was wanting to know where the one that flies over very low about 1140 to 1200 most days was going. Now I'm hooked lol
I used to feed into this system a few years ago using a cheap usb tv stick. You get added benefits if you feed in regular. https://forum.flightradar24.com/threads/12038-ADSB-SDR-USB-TV-Stick-Dongle-Requirements
I’ve had it years mate, it’s brilliant isn’t it? It’s amazing when you zoom out how many planes are in the sky at one time,
Same here Roy. Had it a while and is scary zooming over the North-East US and just how many planes there are up there
Had a few years, fantastic. I ain't no plane spotter but I used this when picking family up from east Midlands. I tracked them in and set off when it said an hour n half away, brilliant no waiting on delayed flights
I love it. I’ve made quite a speciality of spotting a plane, discreetly checking it and then announcing , “Oh look, that’s the Manchester to Dalaman plane” . Not so good when you’re tracking your other half’s flight to Faro and it shows the plane landing beyond the runway and in the sea!
I've got it too. I've been checking all day to see if there are any private jet flights from Dresden to the UK.
I’ve been on it for years. I’m a plane geek. I once tracked my Mrs flight from Southampton to Leeds one day and she flew straight over our house. The kids loved it. Now I live on the main flight path for Manchester, Leeds and Donny and can sit in my garden and track them when the weather good. Also been able to track the Antonov when it’s on its route into Donny and it’s flown directly over my garden at 2000 feet. It’s a pretty epic sight, if you are slightly bonkers like me.
Just got the app . Fascinating. If you zoom out it’s shocking how many planes there are in the sky. Ok I should have known but this really hammers it home. Thanks for the tip.
