I don’t think he was poor at all. Always gave 100%, scored some good and important goals. Yes, it was good business selling him and bringing in Woodrow. No way was Bradshaw a poor player for us.

I agree that if Keiffer goes we'll need more 2 strikers. After the loss of Pinnock he would be the biggest loss of the summer. Lindsay & Davies I'm sad to lose also, but feel those departures were inevitable, as they both wanted to leave & feel both are replaceable & hopefully the new lads will be of the same standard. Pinnock for me has massive potential, but it sounds the club made him an attractive offer, but we were outgunned by a club that has been operating in a similar way that we are now doing for a number of years & have sold players for big money & established themselves as a strong Championship side, something we are hoping to do in coming seasons.

Think the Pinnock stuff is s bit over the top , decent player reaching his prime from an age point of view, we seem to talk as if he is a 22 year old

Time will tell. I think Brentford will have offers for him in January from bigger clubs. My view is he is premier League standard now. You are right a big money move will have to come in for him in the next year or so, if he is to achieve this. At least we have a sell on clause.

Admittedly, I don't know much about players who don't play for us or what's available, but having watched football for well over 40 years, I haven't seen many like Moore in all that time. To be as big as he is and so mobile is very rare. I'd be surprised if there are many, if any, like-for-like out there.

If Stendel doesn't rate him then fair enough, sell him. But I find that difficult to believe after the season Moore has just had. Considering that he has two years left on his contract, and the amount of money we've raised from player sales over the last few seasons, I don't think there is another legitimate reason to sell him. An offer we simply can't refuse maybe, but I would hope that's for an awful lot.

There are rumours of a release clause. There are also rumours of us smashing our transfer record on Kone, who we seem to be in a bidding war on also. I agree with you regarding Moore, as far as his value to the the team. If we brought in Kone for a big fee & maybe Eaves as a a target man, when needed it would tick all boxes. It seems like he's going nowhere, due to 2 year contract, till we tie things up. This is only how I see the rumour mill.

I believe we have said before times many, if a player and his agent are intent on a move,
there is absolutely nothing that the Club holding the players registration can do about it.

Not seen anywhere that Kieffer is carrying an injury, so for me, even if he was excused for
whatever reason, for him not to volunteer to travel to Nice with the group, is not really a good omen.

You would have hoped, that to continue the craic from last season with those lads still at the Club and to
get to know and bond with the new signings in readiness for the new campaign, he could have at
least gone along for the ride and to see how everybody was fitting in during the training sessions.

Nothing to support the theory, but I really don't expect to see him run out with the lads against Fulham for
our opening game, which will no doubt be disappointing for DS, the Board, the squad and our fans, because
you would have hoped, that he could have done really well for us this coming season.

The guy is an itinerant footballer who moves around a lot. What can you say? Disappointing as we'd got a good team together, but being dismantled bit by bit. Personally, unless the offer we get for him is fabulous he stays. Already far too much disruption for my liking.

Hard to tell if pinnock has reached his peak he has never been tested in the championship, he only had 9 starts in the football league before last season in a season he looked miles too good for league one. His best attributes last season for me were his reading of the game, his strength in tackles and in the air and his passing he was also the one lindsay would look to to play the ball out of defence. Attributes I don't think he will lose before he reaches 30.
