That was just one match which he was a big part why we lost. The tournament as a whole we are much better with him. Bairstow is much more comfortable opening with him and he's far better than James Vince.

Great game. For Aussies to score 315 and still lose by 10 runs must be frustrating. I honestly feel it's
going to be a big ask for our lads to beat them in the semi final.
Everybody needs to be at the top of their form, with absolutely no margin for error.

Whoever wins the toss and bats will have a big advantage.

This is the Aussies were talking about. Written off by a fair few coming into the tournament but yet no matter what their situation they always seem to pull things together and do well. I ******* hate the Aussies, but honestly could see them beating England in the semi-final. England lack the big game management in major tournaments, when things start to slide and the chips are down they appear to struggle and the Aussies will play on that. There is nothing better that watching the England bating unit in full flow smashing boundaries but sometimes they need to reign it. It's hard not to see India comfortably beating New Zealand in the other semi final so whoever gets through to play India it should make for a cracking final.

Don't forget that the core of the team comes from Yorkshire.

Australia won toss and bat first. Hope we buck the trend and chase a score :confused:

Be good to have NZ and England who have both never won before.

Letting them off the hook here. Wicket gunna worsen/slow up and won't help England. Easy runs for Aussies here.

Another Sri Lanka type batting performance and it'll be smoke me a kipper i'll be back for christmas.

Think you're referring to the australian teams that have come before, the great one's. But that was a while back. Any cricket follower will tell you that this australian team is average. They have been average for the last 2 years and that is why they sit 4th in the world rankings. I've backed england all along because england are the best 50 overs team in the world.

How can a professional umpire get a decision so horribly wrong cheers Bairstow and cheating barstools played their part too.

can only think j'b thought it pitched outside leg to review it, poor umpiring with roy but you still must walk despite the aussies pressuring the umpire, luckily it shouldn't matter this time, but expect roy to be fined even if he shouldn't have been given
