    Ridiculous. Why can police in other parts of the county manage big games at 3pm on a Saturday but SYP cannot?

    Why r club so accommodating?
    There must be a reason why they just say ok.
    Is it because SYP put sanctions of some sort in place if they don’t ?
    Or is it genuine fears of safety that other clubs don’t have?
    I’ve never known club protest and with all other SY clubs not affected and kick off as normal most times I’d like to know as a paying ST why?

    It's pretty staggering that SYP must be simultaneously one of the most arrogant police forces and also the most lazy and incompetent.

    What a ******* mess! I have a season ticket but was also planning on taking my eldest son and father in law on the Saturday as it is my birthday. However,
    it my youngest son's 1st birthday the following day and we already have plans to go out for the day so now won't be able to make the match. Thanks SYP for ******* up part of that weekend you bunch of useless to**ers.
    As someone else has said, how is it that other police forces can cope with derbies at 3pm on Saturday but not SYP, it's about time BFC grew a backbone and told them no!

    Not sure they can do that tbh.
    They can make or attempt to make us pay a fee I think .
    We only pay for policing inside the ground I think so maybe they’d attempt to charge us for some outside policing .
    Don’t know the reason and we’re never told but every time SYP request we willingly accommodate maybe a good reason but we never get to know why were different to other clubs .
    It’s getting to be every Yorkshire Derby we play in now and it doesn’t happen at other clubs as often .
