Tottenham have a historically Jewish fanbase and have traditionally seen a lot of anti-Semitic chanting aimed at them. Whether it is true Antisemitism, or just a way for fans to insult the team or fans could be open for debate, but it has happened for many years. https://www.thejc.com/lifestyle/features/how-tottenham-became-the-jewish-football-team-1.53784
Suddenly I turned around and she was standin' there With silver bracelets on her wrists and flowers in her hair She walked up to me so gracefully and took my crown of thorns Come in, she said I'll give ya shelter from the storm Now there's a wall between us, somethin' there's been lost I took too much for granted, I got my signals crossed Just to think that it all began on an uneventful morn Come in, she said I'll give ya shelter from the storm ****** it up as usual. On to the next
Recorded last nights programme and watched it this morning. We are truly in dire straits when we have either one of those inept candidates thrust upon us as our new Prime Minister. This administration have failed in helping certain sections of our society in that we still have the scourge of food banks, homelessness that sadly include former military personnel who served our country, the run down of LA services and the NHS by the restriction of cash and and yet, these two jokers are planning to spend money that we clearly haven't got in an attempt to curry favour and win the ultimate prize. Makes me really angry knowing of the privations that normal people are having to suffer, when I read of the Channel 4 programme which starts tonight at 7pm showing in some detail, the work to be undertaken to illuminate the bridges crossing the River Thames at a cost of £50 million plus, for no other reason that they will look even more spectacular than they do at this present time. It's said the Rothschilds are supporting the project, but knowing this lot, I'd gamble that we will be footing part of the bill. For me, the day this sorry and shambolic Government are hopefully voted out of power by the British electorate can't come too soon.
