I know England have bowled well but NZ haven't helped themselves. They don't seem able to put their foot to the floor to move along quickly. My wish for the toss was that England would bat first and shove the score along apace. I imagine most fans would have wanted that, but the purists would probably have it the way it has turned out. Let's see how we react to the chase.
It's going to be about bottle and handling the pressure from now on. Our bowlers did very well all going for under five an over apart from Stokes who uncharacteristically didn't match his usual performance. We've got to get off to a good start now. It's going to be interesting to see how it ends up.
hope all the pundits moaning about slow pitch are wrong, roy & jb 100/0 after 20 will do nice again not been a swashbuckling NZ performance, but it's become their norm in this tournament, they excellent in the field though
First cricket game I've watched and I just could not get into it. The game does nothing for me. Found it quite boring. Hopefully the second half will be more exciting with a bit more action.
This also is to take the accuracy of the technology of ball tracking into consideration too as it's not 100% accurate.
18 avoidable extras, NZ already had 9 so will probably be equal by the end, can't decide if they batted better or are bowling better.......86/4 as i type
