Have you seen a meeting of Jeremy Corbyn with the IRA? Have you seen Jeremy Corbyn being anti-semitic? Have you seen Jeremy Corbyn propose any extreme economic policies?

This works the same way for others on the opposite political spectrum too I would add, but to assume you see anything that hasn't been filtered or framed towards an agenda is very simplistic. And that's before you consider all of our own confirmation bias

Ed Miliband ate a bacon sandwich and made the front page.

The same news papers were comparatively quiet regarding how Cameron enjoyed his bacon...

The Tony Blair that won 3 General Elections on the spin despite Iraq those Blairites that actually made a difference. Now we have the whacky OAP and his cult whose only addition to the labour party is to put National in front of Socialist. Corbyns strings are being pulled by red Len and we all know how well labour did the last time union leaders were pulling the strings 18 years of tory governments the destruction of our towns economy while the likes of Corbyn stood bleating on the sidelines unable to do anything about it because they were unelectable. Funny how history repeats itself only this time it's the whole country the Tories will ruin with Brexit not just the coalfields and again because of Corbyn and co Labour will bleat from the opposition benches but be totally impotent. The only festering sore ever to infect the labour party is the hard left Marxist rabble once called Militant now called Momentum who have grabbed the party under Corbyn and put it back 40 years.

Yes he invited Gerry Adams and co to the House of Commons weeks after the Brighton Bomb.
No but his silence on the matter of anti Semitism until he's pushed into a comment and the people he surrounds himself with speaks volumes.
He and his potential Chancellor are self confessed Marxists thats enough for me to worry about their intentions for the economy.

Gerry Adams didn’t need an invite he was an MP.
The Queen ,TonyBlair,David Cameron also met him as part of the peace process . The only people objecting were the ones trying to keep us in the past .

So your choice is Tory or Tory lite?.
It would help if you could highlight the policy which you disagree with instead of generalising the media spin .
If you can’t vote for dyed in the wool labour values which the manifesto is democratically written for by members and then say it’s labours fault the Tories got in to kick our Towns/cities once again because you couldn’t vote for media lies and spin then try and blame the leadership I think you need to re exam your principles imo.

The so called moderate Labour MPs were telling voters not to vote Labour at the last GE. Where are you getting your evidence that Corbyn backroom clique are deselecting MPs?

No because I don't stalk Mr Corbyn. But I've seen enough heard enough read enough about Corbyn and Co to form my own opinion and like many other Labour voters despair at the current state of Labour. It may have 500000 cult members but that won't win an Election it needs to speak to more than momentum members and Corbyn just doesn't. A competent labour leader would be smashing the Tories like Tony Blair did instead we have Michael Foot Mk2 darling of the hard left but no bugger else..

Tory or Tory lite typical response of the cult of Corbyn. I'm a life long labour voter but what I want along with Millions of other Labour voters is a competent leader of the labour party not some OAP Marxist whose strings are pulled by Red Len Mclusky and Seamus Milne.

The point you were replying to was someone stating that people don't have their views shaped by the media as tv news does it all.

On your point I would just reiterate my post to orsenkaht that the world has changed since the mid-00s. That was pre-Brexit, pre-global recession, pre-rise of Scottish independence and pre-collapse of centre left parties across Europe.

And Blair wouldn't be smashing the Tories because he'd be dealing with the same Brexit divide amongst Labour supporters as Corbyn is.

I would also add that still the biggest barrier to any left of centre government in this country was the decisions taken by Labour centrists to concede the argument that the global recession was caused by New Labour overspending, which has sacrificed Labour's reputation on the economy for a generation.

Utter ******** the biggest block to a labour government is the leader of the Labour party followed his Marxist shadow Chancellor and his ex shag anti white shadow home Secretary whose possibly the most inept politician of the moment and theres plenty of competition for that title on both front benches.

Wow, whilst i wasn't expecting a long answer on how Labour deals with the structural and existential challenges caused by Brexit and Scottish independence I'm not sure I expected that. And the left are accused of not wanting reasoned debate....

    It
Its every labour leader alike smears , falsehoods way they eat a sandwich etc etc.
You’ve formed an opinion on smear , nothing more nothing less if you can’t see that lots certainly can .
I’ve asked you to give a policy you disagree with and all you’ve done is repeat the smears sand lies quoted by the Tory press .
You’ve swallowed the smears and attempted to put them as your own opinion I know where I stand on that thinking.
I’m neither a Marxist , communist Corbyn Cultist or any other ist or ism you care to parrot from the Tory press other than a realist and I know people are swallowing this just as the bacon sandwich smear of milliband or RedEd as the Tory press brainwashed people called him .

Whether I agree with his policies or not isn't a factor because I don't rate the man personally so I don't think he'll ever deliver on his manifesto. I just dont think he's up to the job of PM like he's not up to the job of leader of the opposition as is sadly all too evident with the party lurching from one crisis to another.
You have to win elections and command parliament to see your policies though to implementation I just dont think Corbyn is capable of either
