I’m quite worried about this. The rise is promised for all teaching and support staff with, as you say, no extra funding. I want a pay rise, of course I do but I just don’t see how schools can possibly fund it. Some schools are already closing early on Fridays and almost all aren’t replacing any support staff that leave. This will just about finish them off.

Worrying me - lots of schools are cutting jobs. From a personal point of view it puts my job in danger as schools have less and less money to buy in support

Exactly. I manage the school library, I reckon I’m first in line if jobs are going!

    Wouldn’t make a ******* jot of difference.

Police this day and age are more PC oriented fast tracked social workers than beat officers who can do the job properly.

There’s stories up and down the land of the plod turning up because of hurty internet words whereas in reality they’ve lost control of the streets in many towns and cities.

You’ve got young girls getting their genitalia chopped up in the name of culture and there’s one conviction.

Years of CSE turned a blind eye to due to political dogma.

Gang warfare through out Birmingham, London, Sheffield amongst others where locals clash with foreign nationals over turf with stupid money involved and ***** given over casualties knowing the risk and punishment is minimal.

‘Modern day slavery’ operating in plain view.

    People trafficking.

Drugs available as easy as oxygen.

Change the mentality of the plod and the judiciary and start sorting proper punishments to fit the crime that are actual deterants, get the parents to take responsibility for their brats actions and you’ll soon start heading in the right

Our judiciary system is a joke, I used to work on the prison Van's and I've sat on dozens of trials where the police have been present, they had worked endless hours on a murder/ organised crime trial, the CPS got them in court, a guilty verdict was given only for the judge to give a pathetic sentence, the police are disillusioned, the sentencing guidelines are a joke, and dont get me started on magistrates courts, unbelievable

Academy or still under local area authorities...

I’ve seen a few academies where the money is there but is swallowed up by staffing costs...

Senior Police officials are saying that they haven't got the specialist personnel to train
these new bobbies. I think Boris might have got one eye on calling a snap General
    Election.

Anything he thinks the electorate might want to hear, can't damage his chances
of winning. No doubt, there's likely to be more " sweeteners" to come.

Is Bojo a 'Poundland' version of Trump? Trump's mentor when he was younger was a bloke called Roy Kohn who was McCarthy's chief lawyer in the witch-hunt in the 1950s. He told Trump the two most important things of his mentoring:- "Never admit you're wrong or ever made a mistake" and "When in a fix lie, lie and lie". We know Bojo has lied many times, he was sacked from the Times for writing lies and has he ever admitted to being wrong.?

EU tax avoidance legislation for transparency was launched in Jan 2016 to be implemented in Jan 2019. But leaving the EU is all about taking back control ? I believe that most E U law is incorporated into UK law (GDPR and AML directives etc) I wonder which legislation may not be incorporated ?

Yup. Pay rise for staff out of the school budget. Nothing extra to fund it. So what do they do? Stop buying educational materials I guess while the largest chunk of the budget pays for the fees on the building owned by a private company.
