Tomorrow see’s us have our final run out before the real stuff begins. So I’d imagine we will expect to see the 11 that will probably start against Fulham. Including the club captain been revealed.

I know that the skipper in current footballing times is more of how a personality can effect players off the field rather than on it(ruling out Cavare). So not necessarily a player that is expected to start every minute of every game.

Yeah basically I’ve started this thread to see who we are expecting to don the arm band tomorrow and for the upcoming season? Personally I’d like to see this be Cameron Mcgeehan. I really feel he has a massive influence on us both on and off the field. Speaks well in front of the camera and seems to love playing in a red shirt.

I would have thought it would be Mowatt, from a take the game by the scruff of the neck, give his all, been here before and performed well type of player.

He would be my choice at any rate, but I come from a position of not knowing any of their personalities.

Conway has commented on McGeehan’s leadership qualities before. I suspect it’ll be him.

Mcgheehan seems like a leader but mowatt has also said he would love the opportunity so either of them 2 for me.

I think that Cauley would be a good shout also.

One that doesn’t get mentioned much. I wouldn’t mind him being the choice.

I think he would be a good shout as he seems like a vocal team member and also well respected by players and management

Mowatt for me. Mcgeehan a bit too hot headed for my liking.

I think Mcgeehan seems like a good choice in terms of how vocal he is and the fact that he seems an intelligent bloke. However, I think we need a more defensive minded midfielder in the championship and therefore I'm not sure he'll play every week. I'd like Woodrow as captain.

Mowatt has class. He endured Heckingbottom and still smiles. He deserves captaincy for that alone :D

Thought Bahre and Radlinger were for the Gernany games? Presumably because they spoke German.

Any regular playing outfield player for me that has a chance to speak to the ref when needed. Having a goalkeeper as captain severely restricts our influence on the way the game is being run. Something I think we suffered from during Adams captaincy.
