We don't need anyone at Barnsley F.C that doesn't want to be here.

I'd die a happy man if Cryne's wish ever materialised. 11 local players all playing for the shirt.

I agree with you a player like that could help the team although I'm more concerned about the full back areas than center back. But to state that a defender with championship experience who would benefit the team wouldn't cost alot isn't true it would, not just in a transfer fee but wages. A loan for a player like that would be the only option imo although young or old every signing is a gamble and for every Kevin long their is a matt mills.

    Top half.
We won't miss Davies, can everyone remember his last season in the championship and what people's opinions were then.
We still have the same full backs available from last seasons promotion side.
Lots saying Bambo was stand out player on Saturday, so that's Pinnocks replacement.
That leaves Lindsays replacement, be that Mads or Halme, they can both be better, I personally didn't rate Lindsay, but that's just my opinion, too many mistakes.
Last season in L1 Pinnock & Lindsay had a great partnership at the back.
That partnership was supported by the rest of the team.
Daniel instilled that team mentality to work for each other.
    He will do that again.
We will concede early on but bounce back and turn a lot of sides over.

Happy to be slated for my positive attitude ;):D

If offered I'd accept 21st with 4 points clear of 22nd going into last game of the season

Think Dougall will be key to how we develop, a holding roll with Cam and Mowatt slightly forward of the two pushing play forward, left back makes me nervous and our formation will need to vary depending on the opposition...………….20th but staying up is key, hence the 4 year deals dished out

As others have said, the defence is a major concern for me. We’’re gonna concede a **** load, 22nd unfortunately

12th. Think we will improve as the season progresses. If you looked at the results of all the friendlies with Premier League and Championship on Saturday you would see many Championship teams being well beaten.

Who cares were we finish as long as we don't get relegated.. I'd say as high as 8th but think 10th is more realistic.

    Come on you Reds

    Yes - agree.
    Somewhere between 8th and 10th.
But then again - I thought we would finish mid table last season.

    Bump :)

Some people got it right. Some very wide of the mark. Next season will be harder to predict!
