Ashes are Burning by Renaissance - the live version all 23 minutes of it - my last practical joke, or more seriously Bridge Across Forever by Transatlantic.
In no particular order: MacArthur Park - Richard Harris Year of the Cat- Al Stewart Peaceful - Georgie Fame
Mine are sorted already, not that I'm planning on moving on in the near future, but you never know so there's nothing like forward planning... Way in: Fiesta by the Pogues, in my view perfect for a funeral - sombre introduction, then party! During the (non-religious) service: Maid in Heaven by Be Bop Deluxe, the heaven reference is purely coincidental, but this is 2 minutes 21 seconds of pure perfection. Way out: Northern Dreamer 1957 by Bill Nelson, a personal favourite (surely I'm allowed one final indulgence?)
RAF Lyneham, Wittering, Gutersloh, Lyneham, Culdrose (RN Exchange flying Jetstreams), Red Arrows Flt Safety. 1971-2006. Thanks for asking
Are there any rules around that? In non-religious weddings all references to religion in songs (no matter how tenuous) are banned.
