Also we sold Brad potts who had 2 and half year left on his contract I was gutted at the time then young Jacob brown stepped up and got more assists in the 2nd half of the season than potts did in the 1st and scored some vital goals. I used to get all pissy when we sold a player but 9 times out of 10 they flop and we carry on bogdanovic,Brian Howard,Robert's,Bradshaw.......

I wonder what Daniel Stendel's view on it is. Seen his goalkeeper, two centre half's and centre foreward sold from under him. Bet he knows now why Heckngbottom got pissed off.
    Not rocket science is it...

I don't think he's inept. He's a bit like Michael Chopra who scored for fun in the Championship, but could
never replicate that feat in the Premiership.

Judging from his past record, Kieffer looks to have done better in the lower leagues, but has seemed to struggle in the
Championship. Wigan boss Paul Cook must think he is able to incorporate him in his first team, but from his
past performances, unless he has the right players round him and he can up his game against the better quality
defenders, it could be a big ask for the lad.

We've said it before, some players seem to fit in better at one Club than they did at another. I think Will Grigg is
a classic case in point. Couldn't kick a door holding the handle at Sunderland. No bad feelings towards Kieffer
in fact I hope he does well apart from when he plays against us of course.

I just hope selling our top scorer don't come back to haunt us as selling our best players has always has in the past. As the transfer window ends next Thursday it doesn't leave us much time to get anyone in to replace Moore does it but then again when has that ever bothered Barnsley FC management. Not impressed with the new CEO if that's the best he can do.

Why do some people always come out and claim that players leaving us were not that good, didn’t fit the system would struggle at the level above?

Kieffer was a decent striker in league one and one of our relegation rivals think he will make the step up.

So far the club has £4m quid and one less striking option.

Not being alarmist but Chien and co’s reign at Nice did not end happily

Indeed. There is no better way, upon the very eve of the season, to cheer the faithful up by announcing the sale of one of your best strikers.

Yet despite this we must troop off tomorrow to the new beer tent and empty our wallets in support of our masters.

How about a statement to give us a bit of optimism?

And if Chien didnt have the reigns we wouldn't be seeing any of that £4m, it would be plugging the yearly loss like it has been for the past 15 seasons.

It'll be a tent with amongst other things beer in it. I've been in a few with quite renowned singing artists performing in them. So I'm not averse.

If you think our masters are erecting it for the good of our health, think again.

Hope your young uns enjoy it btw.

No I don’t think they are doing it for our health but I’ve been informed profits go to local charities so I’m ok with emptying my wallet .
I’ll have a walk in and see what’s going off but I can’t see em being entertained watching me sinking beer and listening someone who’s probably ancient in their eyes singing as they say dad songs lol.
I’ll keep an open mind I don’t expect them to get everything for everybody straight away hopefully in time there’ll be summat for most .

I'm sorry if I missed the charity bit.

If I see a grandfather singing badly in a corner I shall introduce myself to you. Before our duet.

Just wish Kieffer had made it clear too. I know there were the rumours but the day before we start our season is **** timing.

You only sing songs that include the names of Scottish footballers?

    Niche audience.

Give me time and I'll try and help you extend your repertoire.

I only sing songs that have a good chance of the audience joining in .
    It saves embarrassment

Check the accounts and then come back to me. So far Chien’s contribution to the club is 0. PC ploughed in £7m before the sale.

The reign so far sees us back in the league from when they took over.

The players currently being sold all came In during the previous regime.

Relegation rivals? We've not kicked a ball yet!

    Bloody pessimists... ;)
