All it would take is one admin (or someone else) in the morning to start it, and pin the thread for the day. Instead we have 8 people making threads for every little thing that happens in the game

    I bloody wish.

One of the best things about going to other forums is looking at their matchday thread and seeing when we score and seeing numerous ‘FFS’ ‘Can’t be arsed’ all in a row.

I do this every week, it was brilliant last year with all the victories, was good reading their matchday threads... Imagine when they come here and see 25 threads with 0-1 replies. And a couple with 5 replies.

The Sunderland thread for the Coventry game was the best.

I’m more than happy to try a match day thread again. I’m not off to Wednesday gonna watch on IFollow so I’ll be on most day saturday. I start match thread Fri night and try to merge any other posts into it and see how it goes.

I really do like reading match day threads on other forums and do prefer them but it’s just never worked on here before

People will take no notice, they want the attention so will create separate threads.

I feel like anyone that thinks this forum style of everyone making a new thread for the same topic has never been on a forum that operates correctly and merge threads together.

Nothing against the admins, I get that they don’t have time to merge threads left right and centre, but when there’s 300 threads for every subject it makes it more difficult to scroll down and quickly see all open topics and makes it more likely that people will think a topic isn’t already being discussed, so a new topic is needed (hope that makes sense!). We just need to change the mindset of the board and we’ll be fine.
