    Sky sports website as of 21:28 are reporting that Pearce is having a medical at Wigan.

    I think we will be moving on to other left back targets now .

    If you're leaving a club as a footballer, it would be daft not to look at any who are interested and then make an informed decision. No dramas, if he comes he comes, if not he doesn't. Left back is a position we need to strengthen, I'd be surprised if we didn't have more than one option. I like what I've read/seen in Pearce, but I also suspect there are 4 or 5 others who would be just as good. I'm not a football scout, but the club employ people who do this for a living. I suspect they identify more than one player for each position they've been asked to fill.

    Judging by quite a lot of Leeds fans reactions might not be the worst thing in the world if we miss out on him. Why we have let it get this late in the window I don’t know. Seems we haven’t learned from experience if it’s true he’s joining Wigan.

    Possibly so, but looking at recent history, which team has played at a higher level over the last 5 years? I think we've got a great set up and a great coach. Not everyone sees the club through the eyes of a fan.

    I think reading between the lines that the player and/or his agent have used us to get himself more brass.
