    ‘Looking in’ to where? If you mean the forum and twitter then you will recognise the world is ending today, as it seemed yesterday and day before. This is no different to any transfer window in terms of the rumours off and on get amplified, fans get edgy and more names than usual are mentioned. I think not buying anyone so far this week proves the opposite and that we aren’t panic buying. Let’s see what happens today. I’m sure our list of targets have been spinning for a while and we will see what or if any get over the line. I don’t think we will be drawing up a new list this morning and panicking at anything when the club knows full well how the transfer window works, what our budgets are, where the priorities sit. Club seems fixed on a recruitment model that I would be surprised if we compromise on for one day.

    Kind of makes me think had we hung onto Kieffer Moore a bit longer it might have persuaded Wigan not to shaft us.

    Fingers very tightly crossed we can get the business done we need. Been a disappointing 24-48hrs. But I suspect we're turned down many times where we're not even aware its happened.

    Aaron Mooy on his way to Brighton. I predicted a season of struggle for HTFC and it's not exactly a brilliant start to the season for them.
    I predicted we'd take four points off them (for which a couple of posters ridiculed me) but if they don't sign someone today I am reserving my right to amend to 6 points :-D

    I reckon you’re right. Most of our business is done in private and we only find out when they’ve signed. If we get turned down we’d not normally know.

    The fact that news of the interest and bid (including value) for Pearce came out suggests his agent or Leeds have leaked it to increase interest. It worked if Wigan have offered more to both.

    About to hit the sack whilst it's quiet..........

    Apart from Leeds who seem to be very active at the moment according to sky.

    Not on Twitter but has anybody checked any of our rumoured targets to see if they've liked and started following BFC etc.

    Is anybody on car registration watch down at Oakwell for comings and goings.

    I get the feeling it could be very eventful this afternoon.
    I've got my last supper made ready for Armageddon at 5pm when I can read the posts as this forum subsides into meltdown.

    21 year old, Austrian striker, small. Plays on the shoulder and seems to have a lot of pace. Clearer a very good finisher and played at every level of national team apart from full international. 750k fee.
