Not flying off handle after only 1 game but from the games ive seen him play so far he dont look ready for me. Would rather play Jordan Williams or put Cavare back to RB and put B Williams at LB
Whats other peoples thoughts on him?

Felt like they targeted him today. Seemed exposed at times and lead to some of their good chances.

Won’t slate the lad though as he’s young and got a fair bit to learn. I still expect him to be more of a squad player this season.

Looks like he might take a while to take the step up.

Not Ben Williams - on the evidence v Sheff Utd, he was well out of his depth at this moment

Today he was for me comfortably the worst player in a reds shirt, but partly for me that's because he'd be more fitted to centre back then right back.

I'm not going to write him off after one performance but at the same time i think we should be moving Cavare back to right back (who also had faults today) and getting Pinillos in or Oduor

He was better than I expected last week. He's never been a centre-back by the way.

Good job we’ve signed a player that’s never played a professional game to cover the spot in the mean time.

Thought our problems were further up the pitch really and our inability to keep hold of the ball.

Sibbick not ready for prime time and the opposition know it too. Pinillos looked ok for the U23s so let's have him back with Cavare in his usual position. No need to panic after a predictable result. Far too many new players to expect anything else.

Thought he didn’t look as quick as he did against Fulham but to be fair to him there were other players that played a lot worse than him and left him exposed , basically everyone in midfield. . I know we want to play from the back but we were painfully slow to get it forward , seemed to be a lack of intensity today .

Agree with durkar. Sibbick wasn't our worst player today. He's better than I thought after seeing him pre season. Today we were too slow to build up any momentum. Passing across our back four east to west and west to east with no incision will not win matches. I love the way Daniel is looking to change things but the lads need to think quicker and move faster.
In my opinion Wednesday didn't show anything special today. Last weeks performance would have wiped the floor with them today.
Let's use the power of the back four ( bambo and mads were good again today....as was our keeper) and the pace of our front four and we'll be fine.
    Step up the pace boys.

Sibbick looks comfortable on the ball. However, it wasn’t much fun watching him jog back from a central midfield position when Wednesday were attacking down his flank. Cavare was also poor today.

I thought the spine of team did ok. Radlinger made some good saves second half to keep the scoreline sensible. Diaby strong and good in possession, Andersen good in the air but a clumsy challenge moments before Wednesday's second looked a stonewall penalty to me.

Mowatt and McGeehan both solid, albeit eclipsed by the savvy of Hutchinson and an old-school box-to-box performance from Kieron Lee and Woodrow tried hard in spite of poor service.

The game was won and lost on the flanks, where the impressive debutant Jacob Murphy and the quicksilver Kadeem Harris tormented our full backs, whilst the Wednesday full backs frustrated Luke Thomas and simply took the ball off Mallik Wilks, who looked painfully clumsy in possession today.

The high press was undone by pace today, partly to do with the full backs but also by desperately poor ball retention in the opposition half.

Edit--Radlinger needs to learn when a hoof upfield is required. Playing out from the back played us into far more trouble than it played us out of today.

Far worse than cavare in red on that pitch today I'm afraid.

Just when you singled cavare out, Mowatt probley best of a bad bunch mcgheehan had a very poor game for his standards and bahre did his disappearing trick we saw many games last season. Sibbock wasnt great but we don't have many options cavare was playing out of position to accommodate sibbock

Forgot about Bähre. He was so anonymous I missed him from my appraisal!
