    The vast majority of us are not knowingly racist ....
    The club has asked for the song, in its current form not to be sung.....
    Diaby himself and the majority of us have taken to the tune.......
    So lets stop going round in circles and change the song lyrics so that it does not risk crossing into the racist arena.....
    Get them agreed by the SLO and the club and move on ...........

    Secondly how do fans get into grounds with flares in their pockets ? Instigate a search system and ban anyone found with one inside or outside the ground............

    I don't think the song can be sung in any other form at all now. If folk are getting offended by it as a fan base it should stop and we move on.

    Stewards know where they sit ( or rather stand) so it should be simple to throw them out. A pyrotechnic goes up at a gig and stewards have them out according to my daughters.

    Just a guess.

    Once went to a gig and a young lad set off a pyro. Within about 30 seconds, he had 5/6 stewards around him and was dragged out kicking and screaming. Loved to see it.

    How about going easy on the swearing and trying to beat the swear filter? Your points are really valid, but less so when surrounded by a load of asterisk symbols

    Hardly a telling off mate. Just saying is there any need. Others might have been picked up privately through the notification process.

    P.S. I couldn't bring myself to read the pube shaving thread. Was hoping another member of admin would pick that up. Had enough reading about racism and merging Deadline Day threads - got to do my paid job from time to time.
