    From reading replies it seems there’s been a few accidents already, probably best to avoid if you can.

    Cheers fo that was going to aldi at stairfoot, al giyit a miss . I think that area is going to be manic.

    i came past cudworth bridge roundabout at 1 0'clock and there
    its happening on roundabouts and right handers,i came past cudworth bridge roundabout just as three or four cars had a coming together..it was like an ice rink

    I think the council have deployed gritting lorries laden with sand to cover the spill .

    Also people, check the road works on Pontefract Rd. Check before you set off tomorrow & avoid if still there.

    Cheers. Dangerous for cars but lethal for motorbikes.
    Hope they catch the vehicle that's caused it and take it off the road.

    There is always diesel on the roads, the thing is when it gets wet thats when it becomes dangerous... When its dry you dont see it and it it isnt a problem.
    I only know as i cycle a lot

    Anhh right went under cudeth bridge earlier and car didn't feel right.Thought is was my tyre pressures !

    No roadworks now according to google maps but just check anyway.
