    I certainly do remember, Paul. Crystal & I were talking about it earlier and saying your dog that day was lovely, full of life and still behaving like a puppy!:D

    It sure is mate we lost our border collie Cassie on 9th July this year she was nearly 15. It’s still hurts but it’s getting better. Just think of the good times..

    Think that is pretty accurate. I think Fuzzy was about 15 when she went. It was guesswork on her age at Dog's Trust when me & my ex adopted her.

    Yes mate, that chart makes more sense. My Mam & Dad adopted Ellie in 2002. BARC reckoned she was about a year old. My Dad thought a little bit more & he would definitely know..
    She was found in a bad state, going through rubbish left behind by some illegally camped travellers, who had been moved on. Probably 'belonged' to them, but not well looked after & had run away..
    Was doing back flips when Mam & Dad first saw her, trying to be chosen. She leapt into my arms when I first met her & Mam was fond of saying never really got down, even though I'd only see her on trips back from London & her visits with me. It was natural Ellie came to live with me, when I moved back. She was proper awesome..:)

    Fuzzy was the most f-ed up dog when we adopted her, the last dog they ever thought they would re-home at Dogs Trust . She bit everybody & hated other dogs. The guy brought her to our rented back to back in Meanwood and spent 5 minutes licking my face. She was s intelligent & just needed someone that could love her & talk to her. The rewards were massive. She was such a character. I'm welling up just thinking about her.

    That is one of my favourite songs of all time. What a poignant tune. For various reasons that tune & Higher & Higher by Jackie Wilson just reduce me to tears. The latter was played at Mark Ellis's funeral, a man who has a plaque under the East Stand. Sending you some love. x
