Then again, if Charlton win they will probably go for Lee Bowyer, such is the fickle world of football
Chris Hughton has to be near the top of their list. Plenty of experience and a respected manager. It’s whether he can be arsed to come up North - he doesn’t need the money so it has to be attractive to him. Maybe he still wants a Prem Team.
It's a different owner to the one who appointed the German managers wasn't it? The new owner might want a different approach and not fancy Daniel. I've a mate who's a Huddersfield fan and has said the same that the new owner is using the parachute payments and player sales to buy the club. Ridiculous if it's true and the kind of ownership that will see them drop through the league.
Crikey if Huddersfield is a basket case, what does that make chansiri and his groundless indebted anti fan expensive journeymen club at s6?
Take your point, but Wednesday are by far the bigger club. Future doesn't look great for Huddersfield at all.
Hmm, true, but sounds like some of parachute payments are being used to buy the club. Seem to remember the current Sunderland owners did the same with the last of their payments. I just don't think that's going to end of very well.
Same principle as Man Utd then..... I don’t see the issue here to be fair. Dean Hoyle wanted out and trusted this man and agreed to the deal. In terms of business it’s nothing new and happens all the time - old owner is paid off using agreed future profits. The principle here is that regardless of finances, the correct person can be in charge. Rather than someone like Bassini etc. For Dean Hoyle - he could have probably got all his cash in one go, but would have had to sold to some foreign owner who didn’t have the club’s best interests at heart.
1 point from 6 games is bad, but what a shambles to start a guy away from home that wants to leave and that you sell the same day. He will have known he was leaving so is heart wouldn't have been in the game to risk an injury.
Yup. I still tip them to go down. The squad aren’t that good, their head/heart ain’t in it and they lack any confidence. Their aim is to stabilise this season - I think they will struggle.
Going up to the premier league seems to me like taking a bite from a poisoned apple. Squad full of Billy big b0llocks players who got them relegated but still leach enormous wages from them whilst seeming to think they are better than Huddersfield. They won't turn a corner until they ship every last one of them out and start again with players who want to be there. Really not sure I ever want it be us again.
I guess it depends how it’s managed ie look at sheff u this season and Burnley have stabilised You’re right though there are lots of examples
Shows the appeal of Champions league that he’s willing to play in front of 2000-3000 people a week in exchange for playing six big games plus a derby with Partizan.
