Aided and abetted by a biased ref. Going to be a hard season, we were good enough to play against 14 men in L1 but it's going to be a big ask in this league. Can anyone explain the new hand ball rule because for the life of me I can't make head nor tails of it. I feel cheated.

    Exactly my thoughts TM .
Last week I posted about refs and Barnsley fc and and was accused of conspiracy theories.
I don’t think there’s a conspiracy with refs but I do think theres a Teams like attitude subconsciously or whatever against certain clubs and I stand by that .
The last two home games and quiete a few over many seasons can’t be explained any other way imo

Yep another poor and inconsistent ref has made a big contribution to the result today. I sit in the Ponty and my eyesight isn't as good as it once was so can anybody tell me what the penalty was given for?

Certainly don’t see that pen being given for us. He had actually passed to their player who had the ball under control when he gave it.

If Anderson hadn't have fannied about trying to shield the ball out and kicked it in to the crowd for a throw the pen would have never come about. He was also the wrong side of their player for their first goal.

Yep certain penalty that. Not sure about Taylor giving Diaby stick after the goal though

Some of you are certain it was a pen but apparently not certain enough to tell us what for.

Sorry to be pedantic, but for robbery to occur, there HAS to be a use of force at the time of stealing or immediately before, or the intention of putting someone in fear of being subjected to force. So the title, doesn't really make sense.

Seriously? Watch the highlights Diaby steps in to tackle the player and wipes him out.

Even Stendel said in his post match interview it was a penalty in his eyes

Having watched the replay several times, I think the penalty is very harsh. It's more of a collision than Diaby bringing Gallagher down. Very soft and doubt it would've been given at the other end...

Diaby fouled their lad after he’d played the ball. Not deliberate, just late. Stonewall pen and we’d have been screaming we’d been robbed if it hadn’t been given at the other end.

Gotta admire the balls on Taylor for the actual pen though
