Lost the plot towards the end. So it's ok to give various Charlton players 3/4 talkings to before brandishing the yellow card but yet for our players, first foul and it's a yellow. Where's the consistency?!!
I would need to see the penalty back but from my seat it did look like Diaby clipped their player which was a shame as he had a really good game up until that point. Thought Charlton were very cynical, but they are clearly no mugs and I think they will be midd table but such a shame we couldn't hold out for the win.

He was at best inconsistent throughout not just at the end. The Charlton players he booked at the end could and should’ve been booked earlier. I don’t think any of our bookings were really contentious except that similar and worse offences by Charlton didn’t receive the same punishment. Didn’t see the incident for their penalty so can’t comment at this stage. However, I saw our penalty claim and their player clearly brought both hands to the ball. Fed up already with inept referees

The one that riled me was booking wilks for him not allowing them a quick throw in......but then their bloke throws the ball away (same offence) and doesnt get cautioned......presumably because he was already on a yellow!!

Yep, it happened all game though, had those Charlton players who were booked near the end booked earlier as they should’ve been, we might have seen either a red card or 2, or they would’ve been treading very carefully. Malik Wilkes was fouled 5 times in the first 13 minutes and nothing, says it all really.

Same standards of consistency and quality that we get every week.

I do think when you play charlton, you have to accept how they play refs and the "black arts" they were same at oakwell last season.
I think we have only one player in our squad (Wilks) who can "draw a foul".

The ref’s consistency was appalling. I would possibly guess he had a word from Bowyer at half time. What a whiny pr1ck he was by the way, forever in at the 4th official.

I can accept that to a certain point, but he saw all their fouls and mostly did nothing else but give a fee kick, until late in the game that is.

He was constantly in our keepers ear whilst we were 2 1 up, giving him the hurry up.

Once it went to 2 2 and the ball was behind the charlton net, he just walked off with his back to their keeper and said nothing. Absolutely shocker of a ref. They kicked Wilkes up in the air 3 or 4 times in the first half and he did nothing.

Where do they get them from?

We were wasting time as we were winning. When they did it they were wasting their own time as they were losing.

He got a stray elbow from a Charlton player. Our physio treated him then he still **** on us. About right for refs we get.

Ref was terrible. Allowed a lot of violent tackles & challenges go. The one on Radlinger should have been a booking & two professional fowls went unpunished too in the second half.

Charton played him like a fiddle today. Said to my mate about 50 mins in get ready cos were either getting a red card or a pen against us today you could see it coming. He was a total look at me referee all about him today.....
