Impressed with him today. Out of his usual position, but drove us forward well, didn’t get lost. The kind of game that he would have gone missing in last season.
Really? Thought he was a passenger today. And him being captain remains a very odd decision. One or two bits of skill / close control in 90 minutes but he created nothing. And he is painfully slow. Rather than driving us forward, a couple of promising breaks in the second half ended when he got on the ball precisely because he slowed it up and got caught. He’s a player that divides opinion, and I am not anti-Bahre by any means, I just thought he was one of the weaker performers today.
Agree with the original poster, he was excellent , great vision and knows how to pick the killer ball.
I agree strange desion he captain with a captain he motivates, gets begins players he shouts when needed I see nothing at all is game he very quiet man on pitch and in interviews, we need passion and leadership,
Thought he had a good game today - in fact most if not all of the team did. Not sure about leaving Cavare out. But Williams did pretty well, despite his extraordinary continuing lack of awareness when it comes to opponents near him nicking the ball off him whilst he's trying to kick it. He'll be giving pens away aplenty unless he learns.
He flags a bit doesn't he - our standard Behre? Legs and mind get tired. I thought Styles might have replaced him for the last 20 mins.
He did well. We could have done with Dougall on for last 30 mins though. We are lacking that holding player. We seemed to fall back after the substitution & Thiam did little when he came on.
It's a shame we don't have a tumbleweed emoticon on here. I agree re: Styles though, I thought we would see him earlier than we did.
Sexist pig dog. I've had the extra pint, but somehow with your blatant misogyny you seem to have redeemed yourself. You will not be ignored Don't tell my other half though.
