Not ready for championship football. How he got awarded MOTM ill never know. Worst player in a barnsley shirt today. All of charltons dangerous attacks and crosses came in from his side, i counted 3 in the first half of which 2 should have led to goals.
I think he could develop into a good player but at this point i dont think hes at the required standard.
Id seriously consider Jordan williams playing left back, Cavare had a good game against Fulham aswel.

You weren’t watching the same game as me then. I thought he had a very tidy game. Think some of our fans can’t eat for him to have a bad game.....

I had this debate in the stand today of which were his fault, each time it was an overload and people not tracking back their goal was the 3rd time it happened Thomas let his man go...

I tend to not pre-judge a player before the game and everyone starts on a level each match, so its not something i pre-empt or go to the game with any kind of prejudice. I forned my opinion on what i saw today and the amount of crosses that came in from his side. The first one in the first 5 minutes could and should have led to a goal.

Have to agree kiefer. Got torn apart by wilks in league one at the keepmoat and my opinions never changed of him. They targeted his side as he was the weak link defensively. Gets caught flat footed and gets bullied very easily.

No doubt he has potential but nowhere near championship standard yet.

I can't believe he was still on after half time, but 2nd half he was much better.

1st half he was lost against their winger. Too slow and too lightweight for him.

Going forward though he looks like he has potential but to me he looks a liability at the back. Switched off for their quick throw which left us desperately chasing the ball and conceding the penalty.

If you look for the negatives, you’re going to see them.

Had a very good game today.

Their no.14 Leko is a good player and William's did well to cope with him I thought - seems like Stendel agreed with me in his interview afterwards.

The lad had a great game along with Bähre. Got better as the game went on and out some great crosses in.

He's not going to criticise him, but I thought he was out of his depth against him. Like it's said above though... Opinions eh.

Personally I can't wait for pinillos to be fully match fit and see what this new LB has to offer.

I'd sooner have Dani back too . We miss his crosses. But I think William's had a tough opponent today and did a good job.

First half he was poor, improved in the second half but got caught out at the throw that lead to the pen. Should have delayed the throw out of position.

I think what some are missing, is that Charlton changed it at half time, or we did..... Wilks stayed on the touchline side of the pitch for the entire game. That’s where all the action was for both sides and why Thomas had a quiet game. Charlton matched us accordingly. First half Williams was busy, 2nd not so much.

Sat in West Upper, we all thought he did ok 1st half - he played right in front us. Wilks tracked back well too.

2nd half he had less to do..... but Sibbick had more to do.

Nobody's mentioned why cavare was dropped motm last week. Dinmi was needed today for his power and muscle. Stendel got it wrong.

Don’t see the hype in Pinillos. I’ll back every Barnsley player but if people are counting on Pinillos even when Williams has a good game, i can see it ending in tears.

Hope i’m proved wrong though, but what i will say is that Williams has played better in a Barnsley shirt than DP has.

Didn’t need him one bit. Highly doubt there was a point in that match where you thought “We could do with bringing on Cavare right now, mix the game up a bit””

    Not once.
