The ends justified the means on this occasion. I won't tell if you don't.

I like Bahre. He is growing in confidence and I noticed him having a word with several of our players in his own way. He reminds me of David Platt.

I agree. I like the player but it seems like the crowd are always having to let him know theres someone coming.

Not a big fan of Bahre but first 2 home games he has done okay. Some good balls through against Fulham, won ball back that started an attack which we scored, also lost it in midfield which sent them on the attack that Diaby snuffed art. For me he is a bencher when we are at full strength and him dropping into midfield gave the Woodrow/Chaplin partnership a chance to flourish, Cauley looked alot better than when he has Bahre around him.

Captain mmm, when the game had stopped and players where getting drinks around the dugout with Stendel giving advice Bahre was stood on his own talking to no one.

Don’t understand people’s instant dislike to this kid. He carried mcgeehan second half. That lad was none existent after half time.. I like bahre. Least he try’s to make things happen. Seemed to be a lot of people’s scape goat last season.

Couldn’t attend yesterday so I’ve come on here to read up on yesterday’s match but it’s not much use as our fans seem completely split on whether Bahre & Williams had good or bad games, I don’t know who to believe

He’s rubbish, except for today when he was excellent apart from the missed passes but brilliant through balls with poor defensive qualities. I can see why he was made captan but don’t agree with it. He’s my first name on the team sheet apart from Mowatt and McGeehan.

Instant dislike dont think so. Folk could see last season he would have poor games but continue to keep his place, Manager faves dunt go darn well with me and never have, getting picked on merit does. You like him fair enough.

Played well, good defensive cover and positive in his passing.

He was in and out the team loads last season. In fact looking at the stats his longest run in the starting line up was 5 games. So your point about not getting dropped doesn't quite hold up. Most gifted footballer in the squad for me and always works hard for the team.

True, but he enjoyed more game time than he deserved. Gifted I used to enjoy his keepy uppies at haif time, in a game situation he needs to bring that gift in to creating, scoring and turning matches for us.

Think he's already shown evidence of that this season with an assist for Thomas (should've been two assists) and a great bit of play creating the attack which Woodrow scored from.

So you agree he is starting to show how gifted he is in a game situation. If so, I can't get my head around why you would want him benched. Woodrow looked improved yesterday but I don't think that can be put down to him not playing besides Bahre. Particularly considering how well Woodrow played last season with Bahre supporting him up top.

I agree he has played okay in the 2 home games, but so has most of the team. gifted is a special word like folk saying he was excellent, nowt like going OTT is there. Bahre behind Woodrow not for me and benching him when we are at full strength was what I said.

Seem to be duplicating answers now.

Done well for me in the two home games. I agree about the captaincy, but he is DS's choice, so assume he sees more than we do.
