Very defensive set up from the start and
not the one I expected from Dan Stendel.
Thought we did ok the first half without really threatening the Birmingham goal too much though. One they went in front always felt that was it. Too light weight up front and Thiam disappointed upfront as he could not hold on to anything or shield the ball considering he has the physique to do so.
It's gone be a long season and this young team need to learn fast.

Are we really that defensive or do we just suck in key areas?
I remember against Sheffield Wednesday we were in good positions over and over again but had no final ball at all.

Not sure we set up defensively but midfield were a liability tonight both going forward and defensively .
Nothing was created for the attacker/s anything he/they tried had to be self created .
Defensively they were a great help to Brum .

McInally went crackers when we wasted that free kick just before their first goal.

We are definitely not a "park the bus" type of team. We are an attacking team that can't get the ball through.

Not defensive as such, but you couldn't see where the goals were going to come from. One thing we do need to cut out is pissing about in front of our own goal. That will cost us.
