The owners flog our top scorer for peanuts a few days before the season starts and bring in a player who hasn't had a pre season but they came do no wrong.

Surprised Cavare isn't in the team. He's not even made it on the bench.

If the player wants to go what's the point in keeping them?

He's a decent league 1 player and today we're playing a decent league 1 team.

Schmidt said in an interview he's fit and ready to go, strange line up but Stendel seems to have a plan

Chaplin is a forward. Schmidt is fit. It was **** when Hecky played players out of position. It’s worse to start at home with none up front. Hopefully it’s a genius plan.

It's all about the money, if we win a few along the way but winning isn't the priority

But when a player signs a deal they commit for a length of time, you don't sell your self short either 3million is crap and you don't replace with players who aren't ready to start but must not grumble.

Well I hope Sibbick has a blinder today, and proves me wrong, coz he was dominated at Birmingham and offered nothing going forward - unlike Cavare often does.

Schmidt should have started for me. it would have caused least disruption to the team and he is the replacement brought in to play second fiddle to Woodrow. I think that the text version of the team on the website tells us all we need to know about the formation. 4-5-1 with Wilks up front on his own and a midfield of Thomas McGeehan Bahre Mowatt and Thiam, with McGeehan and Mowatt playing deeper. I hope Wilks has a blinder at centre forward and bangs in at least one goal. Why not Schmidt, though?

So wilks has never played as a striker before? He only played as a winger ag donny bar that he is a forward.

You and others didnt say a word when hecky did this person at full back, thiam up front alone, mowatt on wing... double standards

I’m not convinced by Sibbick either but I do wonder if the incident last season tainted Cavare in Stendel’s eyes.

To not even be on the bench is bizarre. He could cover both left and right back - Ben Williams can’t.

I’d not be surprised to see him sold to the French leagues to be honest

You should aim it at the greedy ******* Moore who at 27 has had more than 6 pro clubs and a few sell on fees. You can also only receive what clubs are willing to pay and judging by his last season in the championship we did well to get £3-£4m.

Replacing with a player who hasn't had a pre season and isnt ready? Any excuse for that?

And with Oduor on the bench too it seems a strange choice as sub to have Ben Williams in there, central midfield cover presumably

I honestly believe (imho) that we cashed in on moore....but massively failed to get a "ready" replacement in.

In fairness Moore never had a preseason with us either
