How many losses and key players sold before anything but a sneering aloofness is acceptable to you?
Such an odd mentality of some on here that not giving a sh’t about results is somehow mature and intellectual.

how many chances? dire against Wednesday, threw the gane away against Charlton, embarrassed themselves against Carlisle and again today against Luton, Stendel (for whatever reason) seems to have lost the plot entirely, although his hands are tied its no excuse for the reactionary substitutions and bizarre tactics.

It isn't big or clever to simply fiddle while Rome burns, we're a shambles, no two ways about it. The warning signs were there for me when Stendel didn't sign a contract extension. The excuse of waiting to see if his transfer targets were signed may be true, the fact he still hasn't signed tells me that his targets were not. Keep buying the Communist-esque propaganda from Mr. Conway all you like, we Barnsley folk pride ourselves on being able to smell BS a mile away, and its starting to stink down at Oakwell I'm afraid.

I’m pretty much a happy clapper, but 2-0 down against Luton after five minutes..

2-0 down after 5 mins at home and you expect people to just ignore it?

People spend a lot of money on the club and they're entitled to a voice. I think it is fair after the past few games to deduce that we are not likely to do well this season.

There's always one desperately trying to belittle everyone else who dares criticise the players/club/manager after a bad result. "Ohhh look at how not bothered I am at us losing again". Hope the weather's as good up there on your high horse as it is down here.

I am an optimist but I can’t find any positives from today . Whilst the debate about the owners selling Stendel short is a valid one, I also do believe that as it stands Stendel has himself lost the plot .

Today’s starting line up was a joke, anyone who saw Thiam at Birmingham must have been amazed to see his name on the teamsheet. The guy is overweight and inept at this level. What Chaplin and Schmidt must have been thinking on the bench god only knows .

However despite all of the above, I have been watching Barnsley a long time so please feel free to bump this post when we beat Wigan 2-1 next week !!

We conceded 2 goals before anyone had finished their pre match pint.
do we just assume everything is okay?

    Thia
Thiam was one of the only players who looked like he might belong at this level. He’s definitely not the problem.

I’m not defending Thiam’s performances as he’s obviously not playing well but he’s not any worse than the rest of the front 4 today.

Luke Thomas has been dreadful since his goal against Fulham but I’ve barely seen any criticism of him.

Bahre put in a performance today that was worse than anything I’ve seen from Thiam in the past 13 months.

In truth the make up of the squad suits none of them. I’d guarantee you all of them would look better with a Steven Fletcher, Lukas Jutkiewitz or even a Kieffer Moore type who they could play off.

Sorry but you must be on a wind up. We were torn a new one in the first half by a team who I think will be down around the bottom three at the end of the season. The performance today, especially the first half, deserves the reaction we're seeing on here.

We were absolutely sh*te and it was completely unacceptable.

Everyone's entitled to think what they want and express it when they want. But beware the self-flfilling prophecy, if we tell these individuals they're pants often enough they will be. They've obviously all got their own journies to greatness but football is a team game. So far the team has not played well enough. Our new additions have all shown something to our scouts to suggest they're worth a punt. So let's give them a chance. The WHOLE team has to step up - that includes coaching staff and all. The team showed glimpses against Fulham and Charlton so we're not beyond saving with only a few league games gone.
I don't think anyone at the club will be happy at the current situation and you can tell the club that all you like. Berating individuals will not do anything except introduce self-doubt in them. They will know how they've done and should want to do better.

There was a point in the 2nd half where we worked it well into the area...the opportunities to engineer a shot fell to ....green... thomas and finally thiam (who ballooned over)....kind of typifies our shooting at the mo and bahre.
    No end product.

I’m a happy clapper, cup half full kind of guy but I’m concerned. Instead of improving we are getting worse. The head coach is making some strange decisions that you would expect if we were in the last third of the season and just desperate to try something different. The fact that half a dozen games in we keep changing our full backs each game, playing a winger at right back, pick no recognised striker at home, bring a centre back on up front, is a bit worrying
