So in need of a pickup after a shocking first half team performance (accept they can happen) I go to the usual top tier bar in the east stand.

3 games in and still no fridge or chilled beer, £4 a pint with 1 staff so have to queue and to top it off the TV is still broken!!!

like I mentioned, performance can be excused but **** service 3 games into the season ....IM IN MOUNT DRINKING CHILLED BEER AT £2 A PINT!!

I hope the owners make a profit quick because that’s clearly their only goal, I’ll be back for every game to watch the reds but you won’t get another penny until you provide me a service a customer should deserve!!

It seems they are very take take take from a distance. They said they'd reinvest the promotion money and the players weve sold money but I dont think weve come close to spending all that cash, and if we have then they've had their pants pulled down big time.

I got given a hot bottle of Carling for £4.
Not warm, hot. It had clearly been stored in the sun.
At half time they were telling people the Carling was warm, but before the match they just handed it to me.
The whole setup is a farce, it really is.

Well at least the hot water tank works. I got a cuppa and the water was so hot I had to steal 2 further cups to stack mine in just so I could carry it away from the counter.

Isn't the catering still in the hands of the contractors? Legitimate question, by the way, as I couldn't remember when they said the contract lapsed...

To be fair to the club the condiments station in the Family Area was well stocked.

On a plus note, I went to the new fanzone for the first time, absolutely loved it. Cracking set up, well done all

It's almost as if the fans would do a better job of running things...

They have little control over the caterers and the contract pre dates the current owners

Remember that trouble I had. 15 years ago that. Exactly the same line was trotted out then. Not having a go, but when is someone going to take responsibility for just how bad it is.

You’d think folks would learn not to use the stadium catering by now wouldn’t you?

If they haven't addressed the situation by the end of September then it's about time folk got together and boycotted the whole catering setup... Not going to hurt the club is it.. They will still collect their rent... From the catering company.. Unless they are taking a percentage share on the revenue from items sold.. Either way an arranged boycott just might smarten them up...
